Unglazed porcelain tile is simply porcelain tile that is not glazed and thus by its nature it is slip resistant and offers through body durability. It has very little water absorption 0.5% or less and is an 8 on MOH's scale which is equivalent to granite. It is the ideal choice when slip resistance, abrasion resistance and low maintenance are needed. This could include pool surrounds and showers, outdoor applications and public spaces.
