Quarry tile is made from ground materials like feldspar, clay and shale, extruded through a die and cut, then fired at over 2000 degrees creating a vitreous, water-resistant product. Because of their low water absorption rates, they are suitable for wet areas, high-traffic areas, and for outdoor use.
