The Darcy Hotel

Located in central Washington D.C. just six blocks from the White House, The Darcy Hotel features 226 guest rooms and was completed in 2017.

Designed by Beleco Design featuring white and custom three-color 12x24" tile from Design and Direct Source in all guest restrooms.

We created a fictitious character to inspire our design. Someone who likes tradition in modern times. A man (Mr. Darcy) who likes formality with a sense of humor and is not afraid of making bold choices. The result is an eclectic mix of styles and colors. The custom tile in the bathroom is part of that expression. Almost like artwork in an otherwise white bathroom.
