Handmade in Ohio from locally sourced red clay, the Studio Blends Craft collection carries forward the mid western tradition of small-batch tilemaking. Each piece is formed and glazed by hand, creating organic variation in profile and surface texture that responds to the glaze in a spontaneous way. The vibrant blues, green and aquamarine colors pool, break, and settle differently across the clay body, resulting in watercolor-like effects that evoke old world charm.
Made to order in the USA, the collection includes a wide range of field sizes, specialty shapes, and trims in both glossy and matte finishes. Glossy surfaces highlight the depth of the glaze, while matte softens the color transitions for a more subdued look. Suitable for interior and exterior walls, as well as residential floors.
